From idea to motion picture

Just say it.
Pilot makes
the movie.

Tell Pilot the film, series or ad you have in mind. It writes the story, designs the characters, draws the storyboards, records the voices and makes the video. Want something different? Just say so.

How it works

One conversation, every step of the film

You talk. Pilot does the work of a whole production team, step by step, and shows you each result. You never have to fill in a form or learn a tool.

  1. 01

    You describe it

Say what you want to make: a series, a short film, a music video or an ad. Already have a script, designs or sketches? Upload them and Pilot starts from there. If something is missing, it asks with a few simple choices.

You can say“A 3D kids' show about a young shark and his best friend, a dolphin.”

  2. A character lineup sheet with four animated characters
    02

    Pilot writes and designs

Pilot writes the story and a bible for your world, then designs the characters with their personality, look and voice. They stay the same in every scene.

You can say“Make the dolphin a bit of a show-off.”

  3. A pencil storyboard sheet with six panels
    03

    Pilot draws the storyboards

The script is split into scenes and shots, and every shot gets a storyboard, so you can see the film before any video is made.

You can say“Start the episode at the coral reef.”

  4. A finished animated film still on a morning street
    04

    Pilot makes the video

Pilot generates the shots, records the voices, puts the cut together and finishes it in high resolution. You watch, and change what you like.

You can say“Hold the last shot a little longer.”

One conversation

Ask for anything. Pilot remembers.

Open a page, change something or ask how the tool works, in any order and in your own words. Pilot keeps the whole conversation, so it knows who “her” is.

I want to check the details of Nora.

Change anything

Don't like something? Say so.

You stay the director. Tell Pilot what to change in your own words, and it shows you everything the change touches and what stays the same, before anything is made.

  • “Make Nora more guarded, but keep her warm with her daughter.”
  • “Make the café warmer at night.”
  • “Move shot 2.1 before 1.3.”

Rename her to Lena and give her a short bob.

Got it. Here’s what that changes:

  • BibleHer name in the character notes
  • Character designNew hairstyle
  • Storyboards6 panels she appears in
  • Video6 shots she appears in

Her voice and her lines stay the same.

Shall I go ahead?

Yes, go.

Who it's for

If you can say it, you can make it

Pilot does the production work. You bring the idea and the taste.

A woman on a sofa describing a story that plays on the wall

Anyone with an idea

No film school, no software to learn. If you can describe it, Pilot can make it.

A video creator at a desk with a camera and two screens

Creators and channels

Series with characters that stay consistent from episode to episode, made at the pace of a channel.

A director pinning storyboards next to a script

Filmmakers

Bring your script, designs and sketches. Go from pages to storyboards and a first cut in days, and keep directing every detail.

Brands and agencies

Copyright and privacy

Your work stays yours

Your ideas are the most valuable thing in the room. Here is how we keep them that way.

Stored in your own cloud

Scripts, designs and films are saved to the cloud storage you connect: Google Drive, Dropbox, Box or OneDrive. Our servers only hand your work to the AI while it is being made, and keep no copies. On the free plan, files stay in your browser, on your own device.

Never used for training

We never train AI on your ideas, your uploads or the films you make. Your work is not material for anyone else's.

AI providers that don't reuse it

We only work with AI services whose terms rule out training on what we send them, and we switch off data retention wherever a service allows it.

You own what you make

Your stories, characters and films are yours, including commercial use on paid plans. Pilot also steers away from copying: it won't recreate characters, brands or films you don't have the rights to.

What do you want to make?

Tell Pilot. It takes a sentence to start, or upload the script you already have.
